Elann Boyce, canine exercise

Elann has
been around both dogs and the daycare business since she was a small
child.
Her family has always had canine members, and her parents ran a
licensed family daycare for children for many years. She began her
work at Canine Campus as a volunteer, and soon became much beloved
by the canine “students”.
Meanwhile, “enrollment” at the Canine Campus continued to grow, and
in January 2007, Elann became the first staff person at the Canine
Campus
Elann helps coordinate safe play activities among the dogs, and
takes them outdoors for regular walks. She has an astonishing
ability to remember each dog’s name and personality, and regular dog
students are often delighted when they encounter Elann out in the
community.
“Elann is reliable, conscientious and a hard-working team member,”
Joann says of her first staff member. “Her caring and passionate
nature shows through daily as she interacts with each and every dog.
I value her efforts and enjoy her refreshing, positive attitude!”
Vi Haw, dedicated volunteer
A patron
of the Canine Campus herself with her own dog, Dexter the Lhasa Apso,
Vi has been lending a helping hand regularly as attendance at the
Canine Campus has grown.
“I volunteer at Canine Campus because I’m so happy that Joann set up
this business on the Westside,” says Vi.
“I want to support Canine Campus, because having Canine Campus Dog
Daycare means I don’t have to leave my own dog alone for up to seven
hours when my husband and I golf. Joanne is so conscientious, and
the facility is kept so clean. Our dog loves coming here.”
A former Federal government worker who used to work long hours doing
some very sensitive work, Vi is now happily retired. She helps to
manage and walk the dogs at Canine Campus two mornings a week.
“Vi brings the 3 V’s to Canine Campus,” says owner Joann. “That is,
she is a Very Valuable Volunteer! Her love for and interest in all
dogs is evident by the hours she dedicates to them. I admire Vi’s
commitment and her assistance is greatly appreciated.” |
